Fuel 20″ Vapor Wheels Wrapped with KO2 (275/55R20) Tires – 5th Gen 4Runner

We finally introduce the second 4Runner in the family’s new look. Our 2016 SR5 with Fuel 20″ Vapor Wheels wrapped with KO2 275/55R20 Tires. This is my girls 4Runner and she picked everything out. I had no influence in her decision. I think she made some pretty good choices and it turned out pretty nice.

At first, I thought the wheels were a little too “BRO” but after looking at it a bit more, I think they are looking pretty good. There are plenty of options out there for 5th Gen 4Runner Wheels and while this is nowhere close to what I would have chosen, they look pretty good.

She wanted 20″ wheels, so there were not too many options for offset. The offset on these wheels is a little too positive in my opinion. Also, the weight is crazy on these wheels (47 Pounds!).  After everything is said and done, this 4Runner is going to be a street princess. My girl is using the 4Runner as a daily driver and will not be taking it off-road. So, with that being said, I think these wheel specs should suffice given her routine driving habits.

Next up on her mod list is a C4 Fab front bumper and an AFE CAI. We will see what happens next!

Specs on the 20″ Vapor wheels.

Some Close-Ups on the Fuel Vapors & KO2’s

After looking at this set-up in detail, they do go together quite nice. The aggressive KO2’s complement the Vapor wheels quite nice.

New to the lifting and tires for 2016 4runner trail. i am trying to learn what i need to put or do for some aftermarket wheels and KO2. what is the difference between a leveling and lift kit? which is more advisable to go with? I am still going to keep 17″ wheels but i want bigger wider tires. If i go 17″x9″ wheel, will i need a leveling kit or a full lift kit. I been reading and researching and most suggest a Bilstien 5100….

I have a 2016 Limited that I am going to put a Daystar 2.5 X 1.5 leveling kit on – (XREAS Suspension) I have done a lot of research on kits for XREAS and this one will work from what I have found in the Forums with XREAS.
The actual lift in the front is 2.5″ measured using the Daystar, from what everyone is saying –

2 questions —
1. Will this give me enough lift for clearance of the KOA tires and the fuel vapor wheels -listed below?
275/55R20 KO’s and the 20 X 9 Fuel Vapor wheels – (They offer these in 1mm, 20mm and a 35 mm offsets.)
2. Which wheel would you chose for looks and performance- the 1mm, 20mm or the 35 mm
BTW great info on this package —

1. What is the biggest size wheel i can get that will fit the OEM tires (getting new ones eventually) without lifting or leveling?
2. Would I be able to get 18″ wheels and still use the OEM tires without lifting or leveling?
3. What would be the biggest tires you can put on the 18″ wheels (assuming it would work) without lifting or leveling and causing no rubbing?

So with a 35 offset the tire and wheels are basically flush with the fendors or so they stick out a little? If i wanted it to stick out a little more i would need a lower numbered offset for the rims, say a 20 offset?

Question.
Can 20″Fuel vapor wheels and BFG KO2’s be installed without the 3″ spacer kit?
I have the 2015 limited edition with 20″ stocks.
